MR. GILBERTO C. TEODORO, JR
The Secretary
Department of National Defense
Republic of the Philippines
Sir;
I am Ivan D. Tañada, female, 17 years old from Mactan Benito Ebuen Air Base, Lapu –Lapu City, Cebu. I’m a PMAEE 2009 passer, not boasting but I was recognized to be the Salutatorian in our batch when I graduated at Advance Institute of Technology, Lapu- Lapu City, Cebu last school year 2008-2009 and grabbed Best in Leadership Award, Loyalty Award, Orator of the Year Award, Best in Filipino, Journalism Award and the President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo Outstanding Achievement Award for Student Leadership, and was recognized to be the Corps Commander in our CAT Class last year. I was also the top 1 in the National Career Assessment Examination in our school. I am very interested in entering the Philippine Military Academy that my instructors and mentors would highly recommend me because of my intellect and skills, in which I think, would allow me to make immediate contribution to the organization. I am very much willing to serve my countrymen. The problem was I was just 5′1 ½” tall and the required height for female was 5′2”.
With this, can I ask your good office for a height waiver? It would be a great help for me to enter the academy. I am looking forward for your reply. You may e-mail me at my yahoo mail account, that’s ivandurenz@yahoo.com.
More power!
Sincerely yours,
Ivan D. Tañada
Good evening Honorable Gilbert Teodoro. I’m Lyka F. Chitongco. I am a student from St. Scholastica’s College of Health Sciences Tacloban City. This coming election would be my first time to vote. I would like to ask you if what are your plans this coming election in relation to our country and your political plans especially nowadays that you are bombarded with a lot of political issues being the administration’s official presidential candidate. And if in case, which I hope not, you will not be able to top the election, what are still your plans?
I’m hoping for your generous reply. Thank You!
